Rocketry Fuel Test: C
I tested out a larger piece of propellant to evaluate the effectiveness and view how it burns, to see if it could mimic the way it would burn in a rocket motor. No luck! The solid products of the combustion reaction (in the thick, white smoke), are mainly KOH and K2CO3, and they blocked the view of the propellant almost completely.
Unfortunately, the corrosive KOH got all over the camera, so it was impossible to tell what happened. A quick wipe off with water sufficed to remove all of the excess white powder, but this test remains inconclusive.
